Thinking about starting a new CC processor business, I can make all necessary scripts, billing system, security and all the web parts, All I need is a partner in US (Merchant Account and Gateway), because here in Canada honestly I couldn't find any solution to do this for a reasonable price in last 6 month of research.

Royal Bank of Canada, Toronto Dominion, Bank of Nova Scotia merchant services (other banks as well of course)

Starting your own will involve major capital and insurance with some bank to provide the back end.

I use merchant-systems.com and they do a pretty good job. Their support is a little slow, but I would recommend.

You cannot just use normal merchant and start a CC processor, there are special merchant accounts for these that require quite a sizeable chunk of revenue as reserve and good financial backing.

Remember you are dealing with someone elses money here, its not just programming and all, you have to deal with issues such as security, uptime, money management, support and what not :)

Thanks sheps, at least one positive answer. Yes it will be, direct deposit, 5 days hold instead of 25 days on checks and much more.

Actually, It is 21 Business days. This is legistlated to. So you can't go bithin to your bank. I setup ACH with RB(hopefully) and that should work.

check for currency exchanges, last time we did, we lost a lot of money because of this. From US, money has sent in USD, then here they assume that must exchange to CAD and did it, after that they find that target account is in USD and exchanged it again. almost 400 CAD lost on a ACH of 10,000 USD wow....

We arent trying to be negative, we are just giving you feedback on what you have to do to make sure this idea of yours doesnt go down the drain. I would like to say it again, before you proceed make sure you cover every thing just so you dont regret it later, this really isnt as easy as it seems. Good Luck! :)
