i recently shifted a domain name to stargate inc.
We have a bulk account there and regularly register domains through them aprox 30 done so far in last month or so, and experience has been decent

Now i transfered a domain to stargate, admin contact approved it all went fine , now it is in stargate , we can do modifications BUT the transfer did not add 1 year to the expiry date

I dont know why this happened , I even mailed to stargate more than 24 hours ago and no reply as yet.

Has it ever happened do any of you or mine is an isolated case,

Lets hope i hear from them soon, their human click also does not have anoyone most of the time

Hello People
I hope this gets seen
Either something i seriouslt wrong at stargate or i have gone mad:D

I tried to register a domain name , It went fine but i did not recv activation mail so i happened to check at networksolutions and the domain is still showing availabe

The domain starts from kab
Try searching
kabasss.com
kabopps.com
kabrrrr.com

These names are stupid just like that , But all these are showing unavailable at stargate and are all available at other registrars,

I will not post the name which i want over here

But anything that starts from kab i think is not available at stargate

Maybe i am out of my mind and seriously need a vacation, but this is what i am seeing on my computer and my internet connection

My experience with stargate responding to Emails is dismal at best. I, too, am a large bulk customer.

My advice: CALL them during business and don't let them off the phone until they solve it. They do answer their phone. :-)

That is because transfering is differant then renewing. You just moved your domain to them, you did not renew it.

just an update

All issues sorted out now finally

Dogma
If a domain is transfered from one registrar to other 1 year is added to expiry by default, this is what had not happened anyway they did it after sending them 4-5 mails and gettimg them on human click

Also i was able to register the domain later on , It seems all domains starting with k were being shown not avail yesterday

Thanks for your all help anyway,
