Roughly how many new signups/clients do you get per day ? Also what sort of advertising do you do to reach this number ?

What are you looking for here?

You will not be able to establish how many you will get with this.
There are simply to many factors involved that can change the outcome drastically.

Best bet is to track the methods you use and their results.
Then add/drop/tweak these methods as you go and track those changes and results.

After many months you will see a trend of what is working and what is not and you go from there. ;)

I have seen people with no advert budget get 10+ a day and others spending 1k a month in adverts and get 0 sign-ups.

Many sorts of advertising.. SEO, newspaper, magazine, local radio, doing something special enough to get slashdotted/published on a news site, promotions, campaigns, contests, encouraging mouth-to-mouth advertising, etc.

Do what you think meets your needs and budget best. :D

Well I just wanted to get a general idea about what sort of signups should be expected when a hosting firm reaches its maturity if you can put it that way.... I do apologize if the question is not suitable...

Still it's not a set thing... and will have a wide variety.

But in general terms I guess the norm would be around 2-10 signups a day from a proven, stable host.

The better question would be how many signups/month. We get about 60-90 per month. That's averages at 2-3 signups a day.

i get only like 2 or 3 signups/month
