You can look at the IP block for their nameservers, but that will only tell you that they get their IPs from Dialtone. It doesn't necessarily mean anything (because they might lease their servers or colo there, or use Dialtone's quasi-reseller wholesale deal, and so on). Why don't you just ask them?

Or alternatively you can whois the name and get this....

Domain Name: DELLZ.COM
Registrar: REGISTER.COM, INC.
Whois Server: whois.register.com
Referral URL: http://www.register.com
Name Server: NS.HOSTINWORLD.COM
Name Server: NS2.HOSTINWORLD.COM
Updated Date: 28-jun-2001

It dawned on me that they can't DNS their own name to their own nameserver as that might cause a loop... Dunno if that's right (not a network bod) but it seems that this might answer your query in part.

The best and most reliable way to find this information is the following:

telnet mail.domain.com 25

and/or

telnet mail.domain.com 110

that will give you the information for the domain under which the machine that hosts the reseller domain is running.
