Is this going to be the new Cpanel?

They have been around for sometime already. To be frank, there are quite a number of control panels out there. Just that most are nowhere as well known as Plesk, Ensim, Cpanel and to a lesser degree Hsphere in this community.

Here you find some interesting threads about this control panel. And as with every new panel, it first needs to prove itself to be reliable in longer term, so you can't say for know if it is going to beat Cpanel.

Hi,
I have been using Zervex CP for about a month now and really love it, it is simple to install, clients love the features and ease of use, upgrading ( twice new features have been added this month)is a dawdle.

Time will tell but so far so good, support ( for what little I have needed) has been effective and timely

Having just went through hell with Hsphere this has been a godsend, it is definately worth a look.

19.95 is quite good, i've never heard of this CPanel before. Would someone kindly explain why they would choose this over another control panel?

Essexguy,

Watch the pricing you have to pay $39 a month to get the client services as well, however there is a whopping discount for yearly accounts.

Why would i use it over other panels?

I have used Cpanel, Plesk, RAQ and Hsphere, all of which have caused some problem or another, this panel installed in less than 15 minutes and had first customer using it within 20, feedback has been great so far with even the thickest of customers being able to setup their email :)

It does not have the bells and whistles of some of the other panels but it is clean well laid out and above all easy to use for the client, it integrates Postgresql and Java/tomcat, reseller facilites among a whole range of other features.

I hope i dont crash and burn after this but so far it is the best panel I have used to date in 6 years doing this.

Just came across another in this forum somewhere that also looks interesting www.directadmin.com

Yea I've looked over this one last night..

Kinda thinking about getting a cheap VPS/VDS or small dedicated box for a month and give it an install to see how it works...

Since its a product in early development it can be easier to get feature requests put in.. :D

When I read the title to this post my initial reaction was, "OMG, it's Featureprice!" LOL. I think I have been hanging here to much.

zervex has been around for months. I gave that a test drive last October I believe it was ok... but far from completed.

OT, but doesnt DirectAdmin remind you all of a certain freeware control panel?
