I have a client that wants to have access for editing DNS Zones. If I grant him this access, It will allow him to access everyone on my server. I explained this to him and he tells me other hosts have granted access to edit dns zones for his clients only. I was wondering if any other host out there grant their users this funtion in WHM? If you do - how do you grand someone this funtion without giving access to everyone on the server?

Please input on this topic. He wants to find another host if I don't grant him this access. and its imposible for me to do so at this time enless another host can help me out.

It will grant it to the ones in his ownership only.

It will not grant it for all the dns zones on the server.

I am not sure the "Edit DNS Entries" will grant him access for all DNS zones or not, since it's written "warning: this will allow access to all zones"

I remember it ONLY gives the access to the accounts he owns. Give it a try then immediately login to his reseller whm and take a look see whether he has access over all the dns zones or not.

Btw, remember to let him know if he messed up any DNS entries and any downtime experience is not your responsibility.
