I am looking for a good cheap web host to host my site, I need a lot of space as it will be a site with a lot of large .mov files, I signed up with dellz.com  but it looks like there is something realy wrong with them I dont know, any ideas on other hosts that allow large sites for low cost?

thank you jason Miller

I think it depends on your budget, and also what type plan you need (in terms of disk space etc)
You might get more response by posting this in the advert/offer forum.
Good Luck

Well its going to be a non profit site to host short films from all over the world. something like studentfilms.com but anyone can submit films. up to 60 minutes I figure for a dial up and broad band qt movie per hour It will need 300mb and it will most likly not grow beyond 30 hours of films. but like I said its non profit so I need something like dellz 22 bucks a year thing, may be able to pay up to 50 or 60 a year. :D

thank you

if you want a good host, frankly that is impossible. :( Dellz.com lies, they are not unlimited, as most hosts that claim they are aren't. They usually have restrictions in their TOS. You are going to have to up your budget a lot!!

I dont think you'l find a honest & reliable high space/bandwidth host for $60 a year.

dellz.com is a reseller of fasthosts.co.uk

Fasthosts reseller accounts have bandwidth limits and are not unlimmitted actually. If you load servers either dellz.com or fasthosts will disable your account.

By the way I can suggest you to test below hosts:

tera-byte
m6.net
hostrocket.com

They are known for their cheap bandwidth.

If you have not much traffic you can see readyhosting.com , but their support has a long delay.

Mac

Dellz.com no longer resells for fasthosts, But there do seem to still be problems. I already paid so I will wait and see, who knows they might work out, if they don't I will have my lawyer get my 22 bucks back :D sure would hate to lose that cash:bawling:

Yes, sorry about the post. They have changed their service provider to "dialtone". I think they have a dedicated server from dialtone now.

DI (http://www.dialtoneinternet.net) is a Network Operations Centre located in Florida which supplies dedicated servers and co-location services, and multiple backbone connections. Their reputation around this forum is extremely solid and if you do a search you'll get quite a few comments about them.
