Hi,

I have this email issue with one of the hosting providers..all mails sent through this domain will apparently appear as

From:derekchwee@someotherdomain.com on behalf of derekchwee@mydesignateddomain.com

This doesnt look good at all, I have been looking around for another reseller host. Had them in mind since they got so much good comments

venturesonline.com
aletiahosting.com

The big question is, to those out there whom is with them..Do You Guys get this email issue?

I really need help, and a good host.

Help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

We've never had that problem with CPanel, really. With what host are you currently with? You should call/email them and ask them to fix it for you :)

This email issue happens when the mail server adds the Sender tag to the mail header. The Sender tag in the mail header is actually the name of the host in which the mail server resides. The cpanel based servers usually add this for server identification purposes by default, so that if anyone sends spam through the servers, it is identified.

If a host wants to fix it, they can easily simply remove the tag from the header in their email configuration.

Cheers !!!
