Hello all, I am in the process of developing a VERY cool script, that will help everyone, so suddently I run into a problem that'll cost me about $2500 to overcome (it's for the design ect..) so I'm selling basicly everything I have to try and keep up with this.

So today.. I'm selling my Template site. Yes it's new, and yes it's not too competitive with Template Monster, but it has plenty of potential.

The site has only been live for a few days, and here are the stats:

May 2003 VISITS: 1679

The site has already sold 3 templates (#1, #18 and #19) (thats just in 2 days, with basicly no advertising)

I will honestly take anything I can get for this site. I need the money, thats how depsperate I am :(

The site comes with a very simple admin CP to add/remove categories, add/remove templates, edit template names, page link and description. It also allows you to upload a thumnail image of the template and it'll automaticly write the HTML, and place it on the category page. Very neat :)

I'm going to say buyout is $400 - I know it may be high, it may be low, but that is what i'm hoping to get. If you don't feel it's worth that, please bid what you think it is worth.

Heres sorta what i'm asking (price wise- assuming you bought out)

Templates: (23 in total) = $15 each = $345
Script: = $40 (costs $90 to get developed)
Domain: = $15

= $400
---

This site comes with it's very own design slave, who can produce these quality templates + better for $30 each. He can do 5+ a day if your interested. If you don't need/ like him.. Feel free to give him a boot :banana:


ALSO, ALL templates you get wih this site are exclusive property of Templatetown.net (transfered to you). So in other words, you will legally own every template featured on this page. No reselling here, it's the re-deal :)

nice. I am interested.

My questions are:
1) how exactly do people pay for the templates, is anything automated ? Why can't I see the prices for each template on the thumbnail directory ? and does each category page go on and on forever, or does it create a new page after say every 10 templates listed.

2) what is the keyword search exactly ? i didn't seem to get it to work.

Hey HostMaker, thanks for your questions. When someone orders a template, you are automaticly emailed (or paged) with the template number. Then you simply send them the unique url for that template. I do this to avoid fraud (so do other places like Boxedart.com ect..)

Keyword search, that will be a template search. I sorta rushed, and put this site up for sale before that was intergrated, but I have the script, so it'll simply list all templates with the keyword you specify in the description.

At this time, I made them go on for ever. They can easily be modified to be in an I-Frame, and I had it this way, but I didn't like the way Netscape displayed it (as usual) :D

how much would it cost ( do you think ) to make the small modifications I wanted ( the paypal/cc checkout + the amount of templates shown per page ) ? If i can get these in there, i'd really want it.
