Question,
I have been waiting for an expired domain to become available so I can grab it. It was registered at Network Solutions. How long do they sit on them before releasing them to the public. The guy hasn't paid yet.

Record last updated on 05-May-2000.
Record expires on 05-May-2001.
Record created on 05-May-2000.
Database last updated on 3-Jul-2001 10:34:00 EDT.

Anyone with answers/experience?

Usually youll have to wait 3 months, but that could differ based on about a 1000 different reasons, basically plan on being patient

NSI used to give a 45 day grace period for the owner, not sure this is still in place. So, take 45 days from expiration and then from there factor in the possibility of a 2-5 month wait for it to drop :eek:

It's one cold bowl of chili waiting for a domain to drop.
