I accidently saved over an excel file, and they were 2 totally different things, I thought one was just an update of the old one. Is there any [possible way to get the original data back?
Argghh.
Thanks,

Norton might recover it. But you pretty much have to stop using the computer, install Norton and good luck. Deletions are easier, not sure about overwriting.

Deletions are definately easier. What version of Windows and of Office are you using. There is an outside chance that your previously saved version will still be in your windows temp folder. Later versions of excel have an autosave function in case of freeze up.
