Never used it but:

Directnic is an OpenSRS rsp.
For more info about the certs check out www.opensrs.org

Where do you think OpenSRS get's their certs from...? It flows from GOD, to Equifax, to Opensrs( tucows) to DirectNIC (opensrs reseller). <GRIN> (okay... so I ripped off a line from Real Genius!!) ;)

directNIC are no longer OpenSRS resellers, they became accredited a couple of months ago.

They may still be in the transition stage.

Directnic is still an OpenSRS reseller i have a few domains there and still from OpenSRS
They may have become accredited but then they are still in transition and the certs will also still come from tucows/equifax

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe there are only 4 real CA's out there that can sign. VeriSign, thawte which is now verisign, equifax and entrust.
