Hi
Really want a RAQ3 from 4Webspace.com. No sign of any spare for nearly two months.
What gives?
Many thanks

Did you sign up? From what I've read here (that Steve posted), the message is going to remain there. I think you'd have to sign up to get one, or at least be put 'in line' so to speak. I'd contact them as this is only how I think it works, from reading posts.

Just suppose I signup and wait in line, w/o any idea of my Q position or how long it will take to get setup.
In the meantime, my/clients requirement becomes urgent so we use somebody else.
Then we get billed by 4W.
Then we have to get them to refund.
Then we have to balance the books.
IMHOFWIW I would like to see a Q system on their site, saying how many o/s signups there are and how many days/weeks a new customer will have to wait.
Pair do this.

Well since the RAQ3s have been discontinued by Cobalt I assume they can no longer buy anymore from the company.
So I guess their waiting list is dependant on current customers cancelling their RAQ3 servers and they then clean install and offer them to customers on their waiting list as they become available.
If that's the case it would be pretty hard for 4webspace to give anyone an idea when the next servers would be available.
This is all based on a fair few assumptions of course and I *could* be very wrong. :D

Here is an email message I received from Mr Martin Smith sales@tera-byte.com
If you order one - you will have much higher chances of getting one. If we
don't get one for you in time - simply cancel. We don't charge until we have
hardware.
I'm not really interested in a RAQ but thought I might as well kick the tyres while I was in the yard.

Then my advice is to find another provider. You might want to email sales or steve directly, but I'm not one that like to be in the dark about things like this. I know one provider here (reseller of their servers) was haing a similar problem and became fustrated.
I don't like to guess as to their availability, and think you should contact them directly. Reminds me that I should contact Steve about the one I have that I should sell :D :D :D
