Too bad it's just one day today.
I got myself 2 combos, ECS K7S5A Pro Motherboard and AMD Athlon XP 2000+ for $75 each.(tax included) It's a great value since I've just ordered that same XP 2000+ from newegg at $68 :(
I also get 2 Maxtor ATA133 80Gb, 8mb cache drives for $48.98 each after rebate
good stuff. :)

That place was a fricking mad-house today, the line for the register lined all the way to the back of the store.

oh, it was the Fry store in North Houston.
And if you were there, the line was NOT bad at all. :). The board & chip deals still have several items in stock when i came at around 6:30pm
I am waiting for the next sale on that ATA133 RAID.. :D (but it's not likely to happen)

Too bad that Frys' only have their stored at California and Texas (maybe some others places that I am not aware of). And the worse is they build a warehouse exact 12 miles away from where I stay that I can actually stop by everyday on the way home.
They have got sales almost every weekend, so to speak. Make sure you get in the early morning and grab all stuffs you want to rush to the cashier.. Those lines can be amazingly long sometimes.
Grrrr.. I was on the line fore 4 hours on ThanksGiving Sales.. By the way, their Hard Drives kinda suck.. :D

I don't go to Fry's often, didn't realize they have unpublished specials like that on weekends. But yeah, Fry's is sort of odd. Gotta watch out for some of their specials and products. Sometimes they fail to mention that the special is for returned/repackaged items (they won't have any factory sealed in stock), and their shelves have many products which have been returned which they've reshrink wrapped.
But other than that, some good prices on things, especially cpu/mobo combos. That ECS K7S5A Pro Motherboard and AMD Athlon XP 2000+ for $75 is pretty darn good. I've seen them advertise that in the paper for around $109 (which I still thought was pretty good).
