I'm looking to put an affiliate link to a host on my design site and I was wondering if someone could recommend a site that not only has a good affiliate program, but also is a respectable, well run company. (wouldn't want to push crappy hosting on my clients)

Thanks in advance,
Alex

Most of the big providers should have some sort of affiliate program, and most of them are pretty safe to send clients to. Those who don't list one tend to say it's part of their reseller program.

I know lunarpages has a $50 per referral affliate program, however i haven't looked into the details, i know it's an affliate link and I think it's done automatically (they send you a email wehenver someone signs up and stays signed up for 30 days)

But beyond that, I've never done it, although $52 does sound kinda attractive.

You can ask on lunarforums.com or support@lunarpages.com i'd imagine.

Cheers,
nick

(PS: I'm quite sure you have to be a customer as well.)

I'm sure that you don't have to be a customer of LunarPages to use thier affiliate program. I have them listed on My Web Hosting Directory (http://hosting.myispfinder.org), and I am not one of thier customers. So far their system produces pretty well.

I'm also doing affiliate programs with EasyCGI that pays another large bonus for each customer $50+ I believe. ( They seem almost identical to LunarPages). I like the Dell Host as well. They seem much more targeted for business customers though.

LunarPages is offered through Commission Junction. There are also some other pretty good hosting companies with CJ. I'd say that if you were only going to offer one hosting company then LunarPages would be a good choice. I have over 40 customers with them and haven't had any problems.

You can sign up directly at the lunarpages.com website for their affiliate program. I use Commission Junction when I have to, but prefer to go directly to the source if you know what I mean.

I usually browse CJ for a quality affiliate, and then go to thier website to see if I can take CJ out of the loop... Makes my life tons easier.
