I need a dedicated server in Florida, Pentium 4 with support for FreeBSD. anyone got any recommendations?

Hey bro, I host with onyxlight communications. They are based in Orlando , Florida. I got a dedicated server there right now and im currently paying 125 a month. They have linux, freebsd and windows boxes. Also my managed box there is a P4 box too. Give them a look if you want. Hope this helps.

As for a dedicated server in Florida... There are several hosts in FL. Value Web I believe is in Ft. Lauderdale. Dialtone is in that area too but I think since Interland bought them they are closing that data center.

If it is a dedicated server, why does it matter where it is located? Find a provider with good bw connections and it doesn't matter where they are located. You won't own the equipment and most dedicated hosts don't want you "touching" the box anyway.

Why does it matter? bc the client has an emotional attachment to having it in Southern Florida and doesn't know any better, doesn't understand that it doesn't really matter.

they used to host my websites. Their service is very good and friendly... have i think their NOC in Tampa(?) or Maimi.
