I think that they move to Site5 but Im not sure about that.

Well, I signed on with Aletia about two hours ago. They had my account set up in less than an hour.

So far I've been very impressed.

Of course, it's really too soon to tell if I'm to be happy with their service, uptime, responses to my questions while I'm setting up my stuff, etc. But I'll be sure to post an update here and let you all know how things are going.

Like I said, so far, Aletia Hosting has certainly earned their reputation.

Wow their plans look super. I wish I could go with them but I need IMAP email. My current host looks like a rip off compared to Aletia, but I guess that's what IMAP costs.

I've been with Aletia for almost a week now, and I couldn't be happier so far. The server is fast and reliable, setup was quick and painless, and even though I'm a Poor College Student, the cost doesn't break the bank.

They give you a lot for $10 a month. My only question is why the disk space only goes up 50MB for the $20/month plan.. wouldn't it make more sense just to split things up over two domains if you need 400MB? Ah well, I'm never gonna use that much anyway. <G>

Count me in as another satisfied customer.

Got to second (or third, forth or fifth) the positive comments. I'm in the middle of moving my clients over from HostSave (yuck) to Aletia and I've been very satisfied with them. Outages are rare and their customer services rocks.

I have been looking for a web host for the last 3 weeks. As far as price goes I was heading towards HostSave, knowing they have a bad BBB record, but thought I would try if for a couple months. After reading your post yesterday, I then went to Aletia to check it out. I think I found my web host for my needs.

Very thankful for this forum, it has helped me get alot of research done on web hosting.

Talking of Hostsave - e-mailed billing 4 days ago asking them to cancel an account (as I have moved it to Aletia) but I've received no response yet..... Typical Hostsave!!

Even the billing company Aletia use are cool. When I phoned up a few weeks back with my new credit card information they were very friendly and helpful on the other end of the phone.

They had my account set up in less than an hour at 11 PM.
Dana responded to 2 of my e-mails in less then 1 hour today.

So far I've been very impressed

I recently signed up for the WHT special and was all setup in about an hour or so. The support is quick and knowledgeable and i'd definately recommend them.

Hehehe, I very true!! I love aletia even though there has been some downtime!!! just search for comments 'bout them and prob. about half will be mine :D Anywho, they are a great, friendly host!!

To clarify an earlier statement, Aletia is located at NAC.net, the same place Site5 is located. :D

Also, they run specials a lot. for instance, my account is 500 megs space and 20 gigs transfer for $16. not like I'll use the transfer, but the space is nice :)

Aletia is a GREAT host :)

I've been with them for only a week or so now and they've been helpful, friendly, and fast.

My account was setup in literally the time between when I sent the form and when I checked my email (about 2 minutes).

When there are problems, just ask them, and they will give you a quick response, even instant if you use AOLIM or ICQ, or email if you prefer that.

I notice that it was down early today, I'm not sure how long. It is working now.
