According to http://www.au.com, it's $110 for 2 years (there's no 1yr option).

But just so you know, au.com is not a real ccTLD (country code TLD). Someone just registered au.com, a normal .com name, and is offering subdomains.

I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few people got your domain mixed up with its .com.au counterpart...

http://www.au.com ?

$110 for 2 years.

But isn't au.com just a sub-domain? Because the australia ex. is .com.au and au.com is a domain

Yep, just a subdomain. Interesting eh? have seen things like this offered before, you can get blah.web.com too, etc. Fees are generally more than just getting a .com

Not something I'd be interested in personally, but...

it was at the request of a client for the domain, i had not heard of it, except for the orginal .com.au domain.
strange eh, if i had that domain i wouldnt milk it :] (like hell) hah.
