I just hired a web designer to design my website... The deal was to pay half at the beginning of the project after he showed me his work and asked me some questions on the design. After this I transfered him half the money. ($80cdn) He then said "haha sucker" and blocked me. I was wondering if there was someone out there that could do a very cheap or FREE design for my site. did the person have a username on WHT? I they did we will ban them before this happens again and possibly allow you to take this further to get the cash back.

heh post his sn and email and everyone can flood him. i hate ppl like this. it gives us designers a bad rep and makes it a lot harder to work (since i hate working without money down, and clients hate putting money down).


sorry i cant do a free design for you, but if he showed you a mock-up of what he was "planning" on doing, im sure a designer could work from that and make something pretty easily

You might want to go with a CMS/Portal, I would help you get started for free.

Definitley, also CMS and portal templates / apps are easier to place adverts in and manage adverts, hence making money with a little less stress :)

Ths sucks about the designer guy, gives people like myself and other members of this community a bad name....
