Ok so here is the deal. We are looking to bring on agents and we are having a hardtime deciding on a commission levels. Should you give agents a percent of the residual or just give them a fixed amout. Which is better? which do you have more success with?

I think a percent is more reasonable.

I think offering a percentage would offer more incentive [for the agent] to close some of the higher end accounts.

I'd say nothing less than 10% and probably no more than 25%.
