Does anyone know anything about hummingbirdhosting.com?

I was initially going to go with featureprice until I stumbled across this forum. Thank God for that. From a featureprice dissing site I got a recommendation for hummingbirdhosting.

I just need hosting for a personal site that I'm gonna share with my cousin. We were thinking of the $9.95 plan we saw on hummingbirdhosting.

Any thoughts??

Their pricing doesn't make much sense. I looks like they are offering a package with CPanel disabled and charging a lot more for the same package with CPanel activated. I don't know if that is correct.
All of the features in their premium plan come standard with any Cpanel host though so they are really not offering anything you couldn't get for a better price from a well know company.

sry but i don't really understand your post.

In the plans they stated that client's own control panel is available. Is CPanel control panel?

I'm really new to this, so sry if this is dumb. Thanks

Their premium accounts use Cpanel while non-premium accounts use the Plesk control panel. How did i know? I tried them out.

You say TRIED them out. Does that mean you are not with them anymore. Why not?

Is the Plesk control panel bad?

Plesk is not bad it's just not as user friendly as CPanel.

oh i see... i was just looking through some posts and found this host www.P4HOST.com , wonder if anyone knows more abt it.

as you can see i'm looking for value for $$$. Too much to ask I admit, for something relatively cheap and reliable
