http://www.netaid.org/ is the internet version of Live Aid (for those old enough to remember it lol) we as a group are very lucky we have homes computers net access etc some ppl in the world have none of that, and dont even know what the net is .
Another way to help ppl is to link to this site http://www.thehungersite.com/ by clicking a button you can make a donation of free food to ppl who would otherwise have none
our freedom and good fortune should lead us to help others
My company will be linking to both sites

What do you mean, remember it, who could not remember Bob Geldof's face?? Ugh. Not to mention all that awful music. Just as well it was in a good cause. Not to mention it got more people to use their credit card in new ways than any other. And I'm sure lots of people will agree to people being inspired to use their credit cards in new ways, the internets future is tied with that.
This post is just humour, I agree with the support of such charities. Remember, even if its yesterday that you last ate, thats sooner than more people than you'd beleive!

The Hunger Site is a bit of an institution on the web, and a brilliant concept. For literally the poke of a button you donate to charity (easier then signing a check)
In fact I was only looking at donating a hefty sum to them last night. Just need to crunch some numbers. A cup of rice is nothing to most of us, but in the right hands it means a lot to the people involved. I usually poke a button at least once a week or so. No time for me at all, but might just help someone out.
