Just a question for those in the know about the features that will be part of the Plesk upgrade.

I use cPanel, h-sphere, and am now using plesk on one box. I don't even consider plesk to be in the same catagory as the others. Will the upgrades add any significant utilities?

I am not too happy with the plesk, but am considering sticking it out should the update be worth it to add more functionality.

Is it worth waiting for? Regardless, I will probably keep plesk on that one box and just use it for my own stuff, but would probably not use it on any new boxes. It just doesn't have the functionality my customers are used to in cPanel. Thanks.

I am planning on getting ensim on the next one, so there is plenty of time to wait...

Ensim Webppliance Pro 3.5 ? That's also my next intended purchase, but after a few Hsphere users voice out, I might be diverting my road to Hsphere instead.

Yes, Ensim Pro. It looks like they have added some functionality that was my reasoning for not using it prior. I like H-Sphere as well, it is just a little buggy. They are actively working on that though.

If I use the Plesk 1 domain licence does it expire? I am thinking of trying it out?

The new release Plesk 6.0 from what i've read addresses some known bugs both with the control panel and its relationship with Apache server.

I've heard very good things about the release which is currently in Beta testing phase. I've heard "rumors" about easy to add subdomains and preinstalled scripts, however I can't comment on their validity. Plesk has kept things pretty quiet.

I agree with hostkookster. Plesk does things very quietly. I hardly hear any big news about new releases about PSA6.0 and the new updates. But let's hope it can be one of the best panels around, especially if it can improve its user interface, that would be the best
