Just wonderng if anyone here uses ModernBill in the UK?

Or if they have been able to send pgp signed emails to Nominet through it?

Modernbill seems to be great for US companies, but UK people are left behind - and have the option of dealing with OpenSRS only :(

Thoughts/ comments please :)

We use ModernBill in the UK but it doesn't interface with Nominet.

MB does have a pretty decent API so you could write your own interface for Nominet if you wish.

Actually, they dont have any ETA for this at the moment.

We and a couple of other companies are looking at "sponsoring" a couple of developments/modules - a Nominet module is one of them. No doubt, if we go ahead, this will decrease the waiting time for integration into the full product for others.

Those of you who are Nominet members then, how do you register UK names using Modernbill - is this done manually, or do you work through OpenSRS instead?

It's on my todo list at the moment, only problem is, it's an async registry, which brings up a few problems, as really you have to put a hold on the money if the user is paying via CC - something which MB provides no easy way of doing as not all gateways support it and most of the gateway modules would need re-writing for those that do support it.

Wondering if Modernbill is right for me - might be an overkill, especially as I will be using WorldPay / Nominet / OpenSRS.
