Hi, my name is Albert Ok and I am a Junior currently attending Salesian High School ( A privite Catholic high school located in Richmond CA., if you are curious). Well in my history class my teacher decided to give us a project she calls the ISearch project. In this project we get to pick our own topic. I chose to do my project on the history of the computer, not a specific brand of any sort just THE computer. Well for this project there are written reports due and such, but we also have to either interview someone or visit a place. I had no idea of a place I could visit which related to the history of computers, well in my area at least. What I really need is maybe a Computer/Systems Engineer I could interview or a someone who has worked with computers for an extremely long time. My interview will only take about 5 - 10 minutes, so it won't be that inconvient, I think. So please decide to help this poor student. A phone number, email address, AOL screen name, ICQ number, or any messenger of sort will be perfect. Welp, thanks for taking the time to read this.
-Albert Ok:)

Ahh, an I-Search paper... those suck! I remember doing one at my HS... never again. :)
I'm not sure if you'd mind about an hours travel but there is the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, http://www.computerhistory.org/

if you could slightly change the topic from "History of Computers" to "History of WHT" then you will find many takers.

actually I believe there is a museum devoted to the topic. You should also search the military archives as their early use/history of the computer will be well documented.

you should have done it on the history of hacking, people would think you were cool if you did that. Err... at least it worked for me :D .
If you can do it via phone. I can help you out.
