It can cause any problem to the server?
Can we install it aslo on windows box?

Mhash is used by customers that are going through authorize.net and processing live payments. perhaps other gateways too, but I am sure of authorize.net .
It is not harmfull to your server.

As for a windoze server... no idea if you can use this or not. We only use linux servers.
