Hello all,

QWK.Mon, a webmaster-targeted site monitoring service, is offering an inexpensive advertising package aimed at the rest of us who don't have $5000 at a whack to spend on advertising.

Here is what you get:

- Top-position ad in webmaster newsletter, at least 1500 subscribers

- Text ad in e-mail outage report sent to webmasters when their site is down, 1000 impressions

- One 24-hour placement of text ad at the top of all QWK.Mon logged-in pages (about 700-1000 impressions)

The whole package is $99. Please contact me at travis@qwk.net if interested.

And have you ever contacted me to discuss your concerns over QWK.Mon's accuracy?

Obviously, we go to great pains to make it as accurate as possible. Every now and then, we discover an instance in which it can be improved, and that's part of the process. But that doesn't happen if people don't report problems to us, and instead wait until we make an advertising offer to call the quality of the service into question.

Wasn't there a new rule recently enacted regarding this?

Aloha
well sorry I did not contact you maybe I should have first
so please I am apologizing for not contacting you first
(of course this is in the other thread)
so you can either take it or not ;)

I guess since I did not pay for the service nro did I hire you to do a service for me it is a free signup that is why I posted it again sorry
but at the the same time I do feel it is inacurate as the other thread here shows http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=14078

so in closing this please accept my apology but I do feel people should know my findings.

Thanks for the apology.

It's just always better to discuss your concerns with a service provider first. Of course, if you get blown off your your concerns are otherwise not addressed, feel free to go public. :)
