I just wanted to give a big thumb up :agree: to Brock Ferguson of Silverlime.ca (http://Silverlime.ca) for his recent quality PHP & MySQL work he did for us. I have been a member here for over a year now and boy have I come across a few characters in my time some which I am glad I will never work with again and others who I most definitely will, Brock being one of them.

Custom programming is always a popular selling point here and I think it’s important to clearly filter those who offer a great service, quality work at affordable prices from those who don’t :)

As I was browsing the RO&R forum I came across Brock and decided to take things from there, the project deadline was very tight and due to it’s complexity I wasn’t sure if I would have it done in time. I had of course shopped around a little and the project was turned down by a few due to its deadline which of course was my fault as the previous programmer wasn’t interested in completing it for reasons which are still unknown

Overall it has been a great experience; he has been very patient with me and has used his own initiative to iron out the organisational problems in the project. I don’t want to go on too much however if you are looking for Quality Programming, Great Service & Support at Affordable Prices [IMO] then please do consider Brock of Silverlime.ca (http://Silverlime.ca)

Thanks for reading :)

Imran

I am not getting paid for this post, nor was a post asked of me.

It's nice to se a positive response. It would be nice if others followed suit and posted positive comments to balance out the negative ones once in a while.

Sounds good, but, was his pricing fair? I might be looking for custom programming soon.

They've recovered from the hack attack, then?

I was thinking that. They got hacked via a PHP exploit... and someone praises the programming :D

I don’t know the circumstances surrounding the attack

Better get the code checked! :D

Yes, that was one line of sloppy PHP code I used. I have already shamed myself for it and it is no longer like that. Clients get more treatment in their code than I give myself, though, so no worries :)

I don't know if that was a threat or not but, yes, it's been checked.
