Hi,

I was searching for hosts on hostsearch.com and I came across http://www.hn3.net/. The $45 plan looks great and I don't see anything *unlimited*. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything good or bad about them (support/uptime...) and if they are a reseller if so who are they buying from?

Just a personal opinion, but i think $45/year looks a little bit too good to be true for 10 GB of Bandwidth per month :)

That's what I was thinking...then we get back into this whole 9kd.net discussion...because they couldn't afford to pay for their bandwidth so now they're shut down. But 9kd was $15 a year which really couldnt have been profitable for them. That's why i was wondering if they're resellers...this way I can figure out if they're making money...also...if anyone knows how long they've been in business that would be great too. Thanks :)

well, if you do a whois on hn3.net

you'll notice that their nameservers are point to:
ns1.9kd.net
ns2.9kd.net

and hn3.net (the domain) itself was created on 2001-05-04 23:46:12

so, if i were you... i wouldn't go with this host...

suggestion: if you post in the advertising section, you'll get some great offers ;)

Philosopher's Stone is the English name for the book. And the book publishers decided that us little kiddies here in North America wouldn't understand it, therefore t was change to Sorcerers Stone. Odd..

well, these prices look a little more reasonable. maybe thats just what they need.
