One of our clients requested SSL on his own ip. We're using www.hostplus.co.uk, and they would charge 50 pounds for uniqe IP and another 150 pounds for SSL certificate.
Are those prices normal or should i look where else i could get this? they have shared ssl for free
50 pounds for an IP is a rip off. My provider charges me $0.5/IP/month.

Yea, few bucks a month for an IP is max. Some providers will throw it in for free... :)
Definetly way too much for the IP and you can get a better deal on the certificate as well. There is FreeSSL as far as I know which costs nothing and other options such as GeoTrust also provide a cheaper alternative.
