I was wondering what you would reccomend to do starting out for offering all types of plans (i.e., shared, reseller, dedicated).

I was thinking about going with a reseller account to start out to learn the ropes, but what about me being able to offer reseller accounts? How would that work out, Would i HAVE to get a ded server instead? Or do most companies allow their resellers to resell their reseller accounts (that make sense? lol).

And then of course if i went with a reseller account, i could then just resell another companies dedicated server packages.

Thanks for the help.

Take things slowly. Start with a reseller account and just offer virtual hosting. You would not be equipped to provide the neccessasry level of tech support that resellers require, were you to simply resell someone else's reseller plans, given your above question.

And taking things up a notch, don't even think about reselling dedicated servers, if you can't provide the support for them too.

The most money to be made is in virtual accounts. Then less $$$ made on reseller accounts and even less made on ded servers.

So hypothetically speaking, lets say I did have the resources/ability to support reseller accounts/dedicated servers, what would be the best route?

Also would a VDS be a nice solution to look into?

Thanks

Try reselling Nocster servers. They provide support for your customers or you can provide support. U choose.

You can always get yourself a reseller account and then you can simply resell the reseller packages that your host offers. Regarding support, you wont be alone as your provider will also be providing support for your resold accounts as well.

VPS could be the step before getting a dedicated server.

Good luck
