Hello:

I'm setting up my server for secure transactions (something I haven't done it over a year) and I have some questions. I'm a bit rusty at this so please bear with me. :P

I will be purchasing a SSL certificate from equifaxsecure.com. My other one from thawte expired a few months ago...never even used it.

I'm not sure how I go about setting up a secure server. My sysadmin has brought up some info about mod_ssl. Can I use that with my certificate? I'm confused...any help is great!

First .. you do need apache with mod_ssl . Then you will need to create a CSR which then you need to submit that CSR to equifaxsecure before they can give you your SSL certificate.
