Can someone give a rough guide in term of commercial value....

Take this for example:
IF:

WINE.com....worth $100K

how far are:

WINE.net
WINE.biz
WINE.ws

apart from one another in term of commercial value????

I have always been wondering...why .ws is graded last and is worth so cheap from a .com??

Isn't a .ws(dot website) as generic as a .com.
and the fact that it is internet implied
It can be used as a commercial website ...as well as a personal one too?? unlike the .biz...restrict to business only

The reason its so much less in cost is that the .ws extension is not yet fully developed, people dont type www.google.ws to go to a website, however im pretty sure it will get developed few years down the road.

My reasons have to do with its popularity, acceptability and the way in which it is marketed. Unfortunately, it has been very widely used in network marketing and in "business opportunities" and that, in my opinion, detracts from its usability for a professional business site. Likewise, I place no value on all the other attempts such as .bz and others attempting to gain a legitimacy contrary to their origination.

For me, it is simple. .com far and away preferable. .net acceptable only for tech related and only if the .com is not in the same industry, and then only out of desperation. org only for true organizations.

At the next level, .biz only for certain business opportunities or business support sites. .info only for informational sites.

All others-no interest for me at the present time, except country codes where you are marketing just to that country.
