I have several domains with 000domains.

Their emails say they are now a registrar, and
for renewal I can go with their new arrangement
for $11 (them as registrar); or stay as it was
for $13.50.

Has anyone tried their new arrangement?
Is the control panel the same? Any problems
or benefits? (I see it's $2.50 cheaper).

I've tried the new control panel. I didn't care much for it, personally, and have begun moving domains away from them. I feel the old panel was much better.
You might want to move one domain over and see if you like it or not?

I have moved just about all my domains over to them and have been very happy with their service and support.

I used them originally - about 1.5 years ago. They were pretty much the cheapest I could find, but I believe their site\control panel is a little on the slow side. However, I registered my domain for like $8 and since I've only had to change info once it really wasn't that annoying.

They are ok, 11$ price is promo only ( for transfer ) and it can be payed for just 1 year, after that it's 13,50 again.
