dear,

I am interesting in rackshack's server, and have questions as follow ...

1. Is that RaQ ready for resell hosting services.
2. Do I need to install any extra software? Please, recommend.
3. Many people talking about rackshack services here. That's can be happen, but, do they get better now?

regards,
Suracha S.

Well about the only thing missing is MySQL (if you're going to be using PHP). It's a snap to install from a .pkg file.

Just search the forum and You'll find threads on installing it.

well racksahck service sucks do a search
after setup they are cheap and it shows
I would say do DNS on your machine
you can also add webalizer from a package file easy enough
as far as ready to resell you might want to play with the demo at cobalt site
there is no client handling so when you say reselling yes you can divide out the services check some to have ceratin features etc...
the down sides to a RaQ is more of a Linux/unix thing that the usernames once take are gone for others emails
you may want to be aware of this I believe some control panels such as Plesk work around this.
you will need to manually setup each account unless you get some automated software to setup people and billing etc... do some searches as others have discussed this
depends on what your reselling plans are you may want to research some control panel solutions

How can I find out if the SSH pkg is installed in my Raq3? If not where can I get it from and is there anything I need to do before installing this .pkg?

One more thing..........does anyone know if the terminal application that comes with MacOS X is SSH compatible.
