I have a small issue. All these big companies that sell templates, their layouts go right accross your monitor.. Mine only go half way accross, and stop. It looks like crap, so I looked at the HTML of one, and noticed that they just make a big cell to the right that is blank with a cell background.

Now.. does this only work in one res, or would it work in 800x600 too? Please let me know what res. I should design my template in.. and how wide I should make the main table without having side scrolling

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! :)

Your templates should work at all resolutions from 640x480 through and beyond 1600x1200. And if you can, make it work at 320x240 so people who use TV's as monitors won't have a hard time either. There is no excuse for a webdesigner that can't write valid code.
