Hello!
If I could take a minute of your time and just explain my story in this industry. (I aint that kid from Unlimihost or tacid or any other one of those)
I am 14 years old and have just graduated from St.Marguerite d'Youville school.I have been around computers my hole life. I have been around the hosting industry for about 6 months now.I have learned basic skills in almost every aspect of hosting. (Basic Sysadmin, Sales, Tech support)The only thing is, I dont mean to hurt anyone, When I tell people my age they laugh at me and in all means, i am serious.Right now I am looking for as much experience I can get. I am kind of a napkin, soaking up everything around me. Well I am posting here (I have posted many posts here) Just to ask if someone would take me under there wing and teach me, the iner workings of this industry. I have the tools but i havnt been put to work using them.I am trying to gain experince.Thank you for your time.

P.S Forgot to mention, please dont bash me or kids in general. I have seen that to much around this board.

Age is only a #.. I wish you luck as long as you know what you are doing not many ppl will care about your age.. :)

Some time there is some other problems like tring to hire some one under 16 but i am not sure..

Hey, welcome!! Yeah, like he said, don't badger us young 'uns!! I am glad you're trying to learn, as am I, and not just jumping out. You will find that most, except for a few idiots, will respect you here b/c you are trying to learn stuff and not steal ppls money coughcoughTACIDcoughcough.

ahhh to have the brain absorbtion of a guy your age again

just stick with it
I have been a self run guy most of my life with a few regular jobs here and there and had my own biz through highschool age
you will not get much respect that sucks and is not cool but not much ya can do but enjoy your youth it will go way to fast
when i had my biz I always hired young people so there are people out there that will help you
study hard try to hook up wiht a local ISP or something where ya can get to know the people in person and sponge your brain
when ya get out of highschool and get a few years college or other adv education ya can look back and laugh as you will have gained more knowledge in tech or biz depends on what side ya go and laugh as you drive away in your Porsche
so my advice have fun with your youth and decide what ya like better the biz side or tech side or ???
so as a bove go hook up with a local isp or tech place if ya can talk to your shool teachers see if htey can help or maybe some college profs at a local college i fyou are good thay will help ya out maybe
OH and study english or you will write like me
