![]() | View Full Version : How long does it take to set it up? t nadsy 05-02-2003, 05:56 PM FIXED NOW Synwave 05-02-2003, 06:50 PM It usually takes more than 1 hour. They could have 20 accounts to set up before yours. I wouldnt start stressing or posting in forums just yet! Synwave 05-02-2003, 06:57 PM I just ordered from SigilStudios, and I've been waiting around an hour now I've waited longer for a pizza to be delivered :) t nadsy 05-02-2003, 07:42 PM FIXED NOW okihost 05-02-2003, 07:51 PM Two hours it really nothing to wait you must also realize it is after business hours a lot of places so it might not even be setup till morning.. My suggestion would be wait 8-10 hours and if you don't hear anything open a support ticket and ask how much longer. GE Alec 05-02-2003, 07:59 PM t nadsy, This could also be a very good sign... why? It could mean: 1) They are verifying your information 2) They are carefully setting up your account 3) They support their clients before they add new ones Did you get any email from them after you signed up, giving you any ETA? Many companies say your account will be availiable within 24 hours - so I don't think you need to worry yet :) Thanks, t nadsy 05-02-2003, 08:31 PM FIXED NOW DarktidesNET 05-02-2003, 10:08 PM I'm unsure about them, but we (and probably a lot) generally only setup accounts during normal sales hours, which difenitly are not 24/7. It seems though you say they told you 30 minutes, so if it's been a few hours I would question it. Setting up a reseller account takes a mere 5-30 minutes depending on the panel they use. I would try contacting them to ask what the status is. brandonk 05-02-2003, 10:42 PM We send out an order confirmation seconds after sign up, the account is actually converted within a few hours after that. This of course varies from host to host...but if they told you 30 mins it should be 30 mins (or close). t nadsy 05-02-2003, 11:27 PM FIXED NOW SigilStudios 05-02-2003, 11:56 PM This is indeed true. We quote 24 hour setup and the order was placed at 5:50pm on a Friday. As for not being able to login, your 'welcome email' states it may take up to 24 hours for DNS changes to take effect and the procedure for loggin in with the ip. Next time please submit an email to support@sigilstudios.com if you are having a problem. Thank you. t nadsy 05-03-2003, 01:47 AM I couldn't log in WITH the ip, the one you told me, and I just changed the DNS. SigilStudios 05-03-2003, 07:45 AM As stated above, if you have an issue please submit an email to support@sigilstudios.com It is much easier to resolve problems submited to our support email than it is to read about them in forums. Thanks. |
