Brian Farkas 08-27-2000, 02:11 PM There are many hosts that would be able to offer you what you need. You might want to take a look at hostinvestigator.com, hostsearch.com, and hostcompare.com.
These might help you. Make sure to check out the host's response time and service before signing up!
Also, here's a litlle add on to the list of Alabanza hosts:
- www.Veoweb.net (http://www.Veoweb.net)
- www.Superior-host.com (http://www.Superior-host.com)
and us:
- www.Intersurge.com (http://www.Intersurge.com)
There's many more, and if you want a list I'll post all the ones I have for you... but these are the ones I also hear good things about :)

TheComputerGuy 08-27-2000, 02:21 PM I have talked to chuck of cfoxhost.com he is a super guy has some of the best deals that i have seen. You can go to his site and talk to him. I know a couple of small biz people that have him as a host, I will start being with him later this week.
[Avarice] 08-27-2000, 08:45 PM Thanks for the fast replies! By the way, what is Alabanza?
FYI :
Alabanza http://www.alabanza.com is a dedicated server company which leases out servers to other hosting companies. These servers comes with an automated Control Panel and automate nearly everything for you (including billing/accounting, server control, IP assigning, etc.). Many hosting companies use Alabanza for their hosting needs (including quite a few of the respondents around here) :)
[Avarice] 08-27-2000, 11:33 PM Which Alabanza reseller do people have the best experiences with?
Below10Host, (http://www.below10host.com) and HostMatters (http://www.hostmatters.com) run by Annette are two of the best Alabanza hosters. There are many others - just wait 24 hours and you should see another 3 or 4 recommendations. Or better still, just do a search on Alabanza and you should find myriads of topics devoted to this.
Side note : if you notice any ramblings from a certain Davey_J about HostMatters being a scam, avoid him like the plague. Just another jealous former 'competitor' (dare I say it) making an absolute fool of himself ;)
[Avarice] 08-28-2000, 12:12 AM Wow are these services that good? They seem awfully cheap for the excellent ratings they get in here.
FlashTechnics 08-28-2000, 12:35 AM http://www.tera-byte.com overall rating - 10/10 :).
http://www.hostrocket.com overall rating 8/10
major 08-28-2000, 07:30 AM I can recommend http://www.HostRocket.com. They are an Alabanza host, they give you 200MB, 10 GB bandwidth, MySQL, PHP, CGI etc for $9.95 a month...
Their support is excellent and fast (and they have even got live support :))
Another host you might like to check out is http://www.Tera-Byte.com. They seem to get excellent reviews all over and offer 99Mb, 20 GB bandwidth, and all that HostRocket also offers, for $9.25 a month...
