I first wanted Site5.com, then my webmaster partner said it was too expensive.
So we went to Aletia but now they are having problems!
My site opens July 4 and we have no clue of where to go! We are looking for around 200MB space & around 5+ GB bandwidth with all the goodies like FTP accounts, subs, MySql, etc.. for under 15.00 Monthly. Please help!

Thanks so Much!

I thought you had already signed up with Site5? Or am I confused because people had already visited your site and commented on it in its current location? Or something...

I think you want to post this in the advertisement section, so hosting companies can actually promote themselves :D :stickout

Hi Coast,

Would you please tell me what problems you have aletia right now? I am considering moving to aletia, so I would like to hear something comments from you.

As for the hosting plans for your needs, you can check with below10host, tera-byte.com.

I am not currently with Aletia. I meant we were going there but they have had problems with downtime recently. I need more than one MySQL database so Tera-Byte.com is out. I need about 5 databases.

Here comes Dogma for Aletia again!! They have great support!! This recent downtime has been the only downtime since their move to NAC.net in my observations and that of my monitoring service. They are very reliable except for this one mechine (Dolphin) going down. I say go with them...

Man, I should be paid for saying this. LOL :D

I wanted to go with aletia, byt I e-mail their sales team for a more detailed "explanation" of their ToS, and they said my site was "inappropriate" and to take my business elsewhere.

It's a writing forum, people submit their poetry and stories and stuff. Pretty "risque" stuff apparently :)
