Looks ok, I'm wondering how you offer unlimited space and bandwidth though?

Looks quite alright,
however, when I clicked hosting, the text loaded kinda weird...half of it didnt show...

Also, in pricing I read this:
30 MB Disk space. (extra web space is available at the rate of 1GB for £5 per month).

so you offer 30MB for 10, and 1030MB for 15?
Hmm...

thanks guys for your valuable comments:

here are some of the answers some of you asked.

Q1) I'm wondering how you offer unlimited space and bandwidth though?

We have invested in many servers with a vast amount of space and are in a position to give out customers unlimited webspace. These servers are connected to the UK's main internet backbone via companies such as NTL and BT. I realize that there is no such thing as unlimited web space or bandwidth as everything has a limit but we have so much of each that we don't think its a worry for the near or even far future.

Q2)you offer 30MB for 10, and 1030MB for 15?

Thanks for pointing this out, this is a tyo mistake, for classified database site we offer 200 MB web space but if you need more space then we charge you £5 extra everymonth per one GB. So the initial package is £10 per month for 200mb and for £15 its 1200MB.

Please!! FH will close you down with plans like that!!
You obviously dont realise you only get 10GB bandwidth / reseller account with FH ( do a search in this forum )

If you sell merely 2 of your standard hosting packages and they use their allocated bandwidth you will be shut down!! Its a proven fact!

Also....your webspace allocations are in dire need of a rethink! 10GB webspace for medium hosting!!! lol

People are beginning to realise that the word 'unlimited' should set off warning bells....its usually FH customers who use it and usually FH customers who get burnt!

Cheers,

1) walkinman question/comments:
Are you affilliated with, or do you know of WebHostAZ?

answer:
We are an independent company, with our own servers but use BT and NTL (uk cable company) internet backbone.

2)Brief descriptions of jonny b question/comments: for full details please his comments above.

i)FH will close you down with plans like that!!
You obviously dont realise you only get 10GB bandwidth / reseller account with FH ( do a search in this forum

answer:
We have no idea who are FW and why will they close us down. We are an independent company.

ii)your webspace allocations are in dire need of a rethink! 10GB webspace for medium hosting!!! lol

answer:
Not sure what you trying to say but we have the space and therefore can offer to our customers.

iii)the word 'unlimited' should set off warning bells....its usually FH customers who use it and usually FH customers who get burnt.

answers:
Again not sure what you mean by your comments, and not sure why you think we are part of FH. We have no idea who are FH.
We do not charge people for the whole year in advance, we charge monthly and the customer can cancel his/tranaction at anytime. We are a regested UK company.

3) vibesolutions question/comments:
your definitely in a position to make 0 profit.

Answer:
thank you for your comments.

creepcolony question/comments:
webhostaz's "unlimited bandwidth" policy is "unlimited as long as you don't use more than 1.3gig

Answer:
Guys why are you talking about webhostaz and FH. I repeat we have nothing to do with webhostaz or FH. and we have no idea who these people are. I assume they are US web hosting related companies. so if webhostaz's "unlimited bandwidth" policy is "unlimited as long as you don't use more than 1.3gig this is there policy and has nothing to do with Bigcatcher.com.

If you have any questions with regards to our services then please let us know and we will try to answer all your questions

If you are not with FH and do not know who they are, why is your domains IP registered in their name?

jonny b

like slade said Babar, you are a Fasthosts reseller!

So words and phrases like " unlimited " , " with our own servers but use BT and NTL (uk cable company) internet backbone " and " we have the space and therefore can offer to our customers " are going to have you shut down by Fasthosts ;)

Your 'terms of service' are also Fasthosts and reflect this by disclaiming the 'unlimited policy' ie. there is none!! :D

I'm not slagging your plans or prices, just saying that they aren't realistic because like i said, 2 customers using their full allocations will have the Fasthosts 'abuse' department shutting your account down!!

It looks like you've only been with Fasthosts for a couple of weeks....i would just change your plans a bit to make sure you last a while with them!

Just a bit of friendly advice Babar, i've seen it happen to a lot of FH customers in the past!

Cheers,

Your nameservers are the same as WebHostAZ. That's why I asked my question. You both are on Fast Host.

Are not nearly all resellers liers? I remember when looking for a hosting company one time, I got two companies claiming the other was reselleing off of them. It did not take me long not to choose them.

answers to your comments:

My apologies for not realising that FH stands for Fast Hosts. Yes we do use Fast Hosts and also Web fusion servers. We use thier servers and also have our own servers allocated with them.

We use differesnt servers from differnt companies to store copies of our clients websites as backups. The customers only pay for space on one server the copies of that site are stored on another server, in another company and location, This is totally free.

For example if your website used 850MB space (standard package see http://www.bigcatcher.com for details), we will allocate another 850MB webspace for backup free. the customer only pays £10 per month for the intial 850MB webspace package.

Hello

As some people speak about webhostaz here I want to know if anyone knows what is going at webhostaz.

Access to all ftp accounts are blocked but websites are working. They are reseller of FastHosts so I guess they have problem with fasthosts, is it?

Regards,
Mac

Babar

I am not sure about resellers accounts with fast hosts.

We have our own servers connected to the fast hosts internet backbone and all ftp accounts are fine.

There could be something wrong with their servers. Best thing is to call them direct and find out whats the problem is.

Currently we are running a special offer where all hosting packages are FREE for THREE months .

You don't pay us anything for three whole months, that should give people enough time to decide if we are the right company for them.

Actually, I think I WOULD have to worry about data transfer rate.
After reading your TOS and seeing that BIGcatcher.com may implement the following policy to its sole discretion ( as it refers to bandwidth and/or processor utilization)

Sorry. . . but I would rather have a firm understanding as to what my limits were and not have to worry about if I exceded what you thought my limits were, based on your "own discretion."

Just a personal preference of mine??
I think not

I understand your concrern with regards to bandwidth and our quote above,
But this is for very extream cases only and which we don't think we will encounter.
However this is one of the reasons why we are giving 3 months free hosting.
During the 3 months we will monitor your band width usuage and let you know if it causes a problem to our processor utilization.

You don't pay us anything for 3 months, during this period you will also find out the performance of our servers and decide if you like to continue hosting with us after the 3 free months or not.
