To all burst.net customers;

Please go and use http://www.burst.net/cgi-bin/UltraBoard/UltraBoard.cgi for all burst rerlated things.

It's pretty lonely outthere ;-)

is this board moderated in any way?

if so then by whom is it moderated and what are the rules of moderation, in other words, will the burst.net staff delete any posts which pose a threat to their business, will they remove any posts that speak negatively about their business? etc...?

or will all posts remain in place regardless of the point the sender is trying to get across?

(apart from obvious slating of company without reason)

Yes...
1. You will not gain membership access unless we can verify that you are a current client.
2. After you have membership, posts are not moderated, but are monitored by BurstNET staff.

The are no rules...If we deem something inappropriate in our forum it will be removed.
Constructive criticism is fine though...

We closed the forum once about a year ago, due to spamming and negative comments, but at that time we were letting anyone and everyone post there. By moderating membership, we can keep the board in usage by just actual clients. This should cut down on the garbage, for it is mostly individuals that have never even been BurstNET clients that state negative comments about us in the first place.

great, thanx for the prompt reply Sean

it seems that clears everything up for people looking to post on the board and review the boards contents.

I think I remember this being posted a short while ago, but its nice to sum it up in a thread.

If you want tech support, you need to use one of our normal support methods.
That forum was only put up, due to poopular request, for users to help each other out.
We may make an occasional post here and there, but don't expect us to respond normally.
