We use http://helpdesk.oneorzero.com/, which is a free product, but it's not that great.

Check all the other threads over the last week or so - just do a search on "helpddesk".

You can also check the free helpdesk scripts in Perl, PHP or ASP on http://www.hotscripts.com

the eniki manager is also free, although im not sure if there is a current stable release www.eniki.net
