Just curious I have 4 IPs that comes with Catalog.com delicated hosting.
Right now 3 IP are in use by my own 3 sites and the other IP is used to host my firends sites (4 in total) plus my own subdomain.
Is there any limitation of not having a delicated IP to the site?

If your DNS setting are correctly configured, you should't have any limitations to your domain, except for SSL, which needs a dedicated IP. Hope this helps.

I've seen people on here say they've done virtual anon-ftp servers. I don't think they mentioned which software they were using, though.

I'm pretty sure namebased anonymous FTP servers are impossible for technical reasons. You'll need one IP per anonymous FTP server.

How is this possible? The host header sent by the browser would be encrypted..the server wouldn't know which site to use, would it?

other than what others have said there's no problems that I'm aware of.
It's perfectly fine to load up a bunch of sites on a single IP. Infact it's probabbly better becuase it doesn't waste IPs.
