Good news!

We just hired a new network engineer, and he is starting immediately!

More info on who he is, and what he is capable of will be posted here shortly.
Needless to say, all our networking issues will be a thing of the past with this new talent onboard...

So basically their current network engineers are idiots?

Dan isn't an idiot - He's just overwhelmed with work at the moment. Dan is Nocster's only in-house network engineer - That means they do not have a network engineer there all of the time. If Dan isn't there at the time of an issue, they have to page him, and he has to stop whatever he's doing and travel to the DC. I'm not sure where he lives, but I know he doesn't live in the back of the DC. He does live close by, though.

You shouldn't be running a hosting company if you don't know how to ping... (hint - "ping servername").

Quick update: Shawn just informed me that their AT&T line has been removed, due to problems balancing the AT&T line with the rest of the connections.
