Here's the info from Rackshack FAQ.
---------------------------------------------
How do I configure the RaQ to be both ns1 and ns2?
You will need to go into http://www.yourdomain.com/admin, login as admin and click on Site Management, from there, you will click on Add Virtual Site. For hostname you'll put ns1, domain will be domain.com, IP address will be the IP address assigned to the RaQ. Once you've done this, you'll need to do the same again for ns2, using the same steps then go to your registrar and inform them of ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com and what IP address they're located at so they can be registered with ICANN as authoritative nameservers before you can use them properly.
-----------------------------------------------
Anyone got this to work?
, IP address will be the IP address assigned to the RaQ. Once you've done this, you'll need to do the same again for ns2, using the same steps
Does this mean IP of the main site or additional IP that you'll have to get?
Do the same for ns2? I thought you have to get another IP for ns2??
Can you actuall have the main site + ns1 + ns2 with only 1 IP???
From the FAQ, it seem that this is the way they do it.
I've read many posts and looked at many sites manuals on how to set up DNS on raq4. All of them confusing to say the least. Most instructions are vague, when it says IP, it does not make it clear with one.
Anyone ??
