just wondering, what is the best, not necessarily most affordable help desk solution? Urls please.

I find PerlDesk is the best, very easy from the client's side and it's easy to know what's what from the admin's side...

They all have their shortcomings and you'll find it's best to take one of the above and roll your own...

Cerberusweb is the best IMO.

Super fast, powerful features.. too many to list :)

I've liked inverseflow. It is still growing and support is second to none. (they answer tickets promptly and even on weekends.. like today is sunday and they helped resolve an issue i had with attatchments not coming through a cron-scripted import.

I started testing now PHP Supprot Desk, it looks very nice...

I'm still saying the InverseFlow is the best, but now PHP Support Desk looks good also :)

Simple Support is another:

In the past, we have used simple support, kayako, and perldesk. We are now using Inverseflow and love it.

Thanks for the mention, guys!

We have a major 2.0.0 version coming out at the end of the month with about 50 features and tweaks we've been working on for the last 3 months. I'd be happy to give a beta demo URL (and ChangeLog) to anyone who is interested.

While the best app for a purpose is, and will always be, a matter of opinion to individual users -- Kayako, Cerberus and Inverseflow are likely all pushing eachother far beyond their respective original visions.

Great competition drives great innovation. May the user with the widest selection win. ;)

Inverse Flow admin-end looks AWESOME .. however, when it comes to the client interface (http://inverseflow-support.ratestar.net/HelpDeskDemo/) WTF ?!?

Add on to that the fact that 'anyone' can send tickets and you've got yourself a big mess there ..

If they decide to complete this software some day by creating a proper client interface, accessible only by clients, where clients can view their details, history etc (like Perldesk) then I'd give it some serious consideration ..

Right now, this looks to me like half-finished program..

http://inverseflow-support.ratestar.net/HelpDeskDemo/ WHAT ?!
