I am looking for hardware or software that helps me
set an hard limit on how much bandwidht a dedicated
server can use.
The servers are hosted on an E3 with a Cisco 7120.
The 7120 is suppose to have "advanced bandwidht
management", but I can't find anything in the documentation
explaining this. At least not in the documentation provided
by UUnet along with the router.
So what I would like to do is to give a certain server
(or a certain IP-address) a designated amount of
bandwidht (a dedicated pipe). For example the server
should not be able to exceed 256 kb/sec.
Thanks for any help or ideas on this issue,
