Have any of you guys used YHD (http://www.yourhostdirect.com) as a company for dedicated servers?

He said he's been giving me "deals"..

My server has to be restarted every 12 hours, or else something bad happens to it and every process fails.

Support was great, now he just blocks me when I ask him on AIM to restart my server because ssh won't let me in.

If your box was down 4/26 days, what would you do?
I payed for it, and think I deserve a refund :angry:

Do not use these people, services suck.

Wow, 4 whole days. Thats no good. Did you try to ask for a refund? If they're a good standing company, I'm sure they'll at least refund you for the days of outage. The keyword is "if". :)

This is a horrible troubleshooting tactic. First, why would you want to do that and lose all your data and settings? Why not spend some time and actually fix the problem? Secondly, he mentioned SSH, so I don't think he has local access. Installing an OS without the local access sure would be fun!
