Well personally i think the customer service is horrible there i've never hosted there due to the fact they have rude support and sales staff.

Just do a search on burstNET i'm sure you'll find a lot more negative reports than positive

FlashTechnics,
"Horrible" is a bit strong, especially if you've had no direct business experience with them.

I have several sites with BurstNet. Yes, there is one guy there who's a bit snippy, perhaps arrogant, but most of the time I talk to the "techs in the trenches" and they've been cordial and cooperative. You do have to make sure to follow-up on everything, though, and take care to phrase your questions accurately because they display a "black-and-white" mind-set and don't volunteer much information. Overall their service is good but not stellar -- however they do have their moments.

Do a search in these forums, you'll see the bad and...well the bad. I've heard from other sources that his business isn't doing to well.

I just got a reseller client from them who said that one of his sites had been down for 72 hours with no word on what was going on.

Sean, this is a fact, I can give the name of the person.

I was caught up in that mess. A couple of my clients demanded I move them to another host, which I did. I guess I've never experienced a truly *good* host, so BurstNet seems okay compared to what I've seen and read. Next stop. . . Alabanza?

BurstNet recently closed down their Message Board for Client Support and Discussion.

Their reason was "Too many spammers and abusers have led to the close of this service". The spammers and abusers was clients wanting to know what was going on with their services and also discussing when parts of the Control Panel would be finished.

I guess they couldnt handle all the users getting together sharing information and wanting to know whats happened with their services ?!

I had to cancel my account at BurstNET. Their machines broke, and my site was up and down for 1 week then when back up I couldnt use my login info for the next week and thats when they email their customer explaining that becasue of the problems account info reverted to their backups from a while before. So for 1 whole week I was in the dark about how to access what I am payign for. Added to not being able to reach their 24/7/365 phone support over several times on a weekday, and the 1 week time it takes for a reply from their customer service...

Bah, spend your money elsewhere.
